As we approach the start of a new school year, we want to take a moment to emphasize the importance of keeping our children safe as they return to school. With the school year beginning soon, many students will be walking to and from school, as well as to and from their bus stops.
In light of this, we are launching a media blitz across our Facebook page, other social media platforms, and in our newsletters to remind everyone about the importance of driving with extra caution during this busy time. We also encourage you to share this message with friends and family to help spread the word.
Here are a few key points to keep in mind:
Slow Down: Reduce your speed, especially in school zones and residential areas.
Watch for Pedestrians: Be vigilant for children crossing the street or walking near bus stops.
Obey Traffic Signals: Always follow traffic signals and signs and be patient at crosswalks.
Additionally, we will be mailing a letter to all households to further emphasize the importance of these safety measures. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring our children have a safe and successful start to their school year.
Thank you for your attention to this important matter and for helping us create a safe community for our students.
One of our local kids, Laten Hinds, has partnered with Tony Patino, owner of Never Better Frozen Yogurt in Lake Elsinore, for a Kid’s Clean Up Westridge Day! Guillermo Altamirano with the Oscar Tortola Group heard about the event, he wanted to match Tony’s offer.
On April 23, 2023, all day, every parent who posts a photo of their child(ren) cleaning up Westridge to the FaceBook page or email Westridgecomnewsletter@gmail.com a photo to the social committee email will receive a coupon for 6 OZ of FREE FROZEN YOGURT! The coupons will be delivered to each child during the week of April 24th-29th.
The Westridge at Canyon Lakes Social Committee has sure been busy this year!
Please take a moment and check the owners portal for all the great events planned for the community! Garage sales, Easter events and more! Hats off to your hard working committee members for all they do!
With all of the demands on your time, it is sometimes hard to focus on courtesies regarding pet ownership. Unfortunately, it also creates more stress for your neighbors when they have to deal with nuisances such as barking dogs, loose dogs and cats and feces being left on their property or in the common area. These are clearly the responsibility of the pet owner and abiding by the pet rules in the community will not only promote a better relationship amongst neighbors, but will protect the health and safety of the animals as well. Remember to always have your pet on a leash and pick up any waste left behind. Also, please do not allow your dogs to defecate or urinate on plants. Pet waste damage to plants has been noticed throughout the community. Plant replacements can be costly to the Association, meaning you, the homeowner. Please be a good neighbor – You can make a difference!
